About Me

Some obsessions start early. Mine began with the smell of a fresh notebook and the satisfying click of a new pen — but if I'm being honest, it started even before that. As a young child, when my parents had to work weekends, tagging along to their office wasn't a chore; it was an adventure. While other kids might have dreaded the trip, I could barely contain my excitement at the thought of one thing: the supply closet. I'd browse those shelves like they were treasure, carefully choosing what to bring home, already dreaming about what I'd do with each pen, each pad of paper, each perfectly bound notebook.
As I grew, that love deepened into something more — a fascination with journals, with the quiet power of putting words on paper and the way a blank page holds so much possibility. When I picked up watercolors and couldn't find a sketchbook worthy of the craft, I did what any paper-obsessed person would do: I made my own. That moment became Bluebonnet Bindery — a small shop born from a lifelong love of paper goods, and a belief that the things you create with should be just as beautiful as what you make.
